I am a shopper! I like the good stuff, but I don't like paying a lot for it. My favorite "bricks and mortar" shopping venues include TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Loehmann's, Sam's Club, Costco, etc. This goes way back to the days of saving my baby-sitting money to buy my own clothes (and that was when top dollar was actually $.75/hour). I would shop for hours to get the best deals then come home and show my parents just how much I saved. My favorite shopping story, however, goes back ten (10) years or so when I was shopping for a party dress at Loehmann's in Dallas, Texas. That particular day the moon and stars aligned perfectly, and everything I put on looked fabulous (or so it seemed). I ended up buying a dozen outfits, four of which were a different version of "that perfect little black dress."I must say It was the first time that Loehmann's sales clerks actually helped me take my outfits out to my car. And true to form, when I returned to my parent's home, I displayed my "finds" and tallied my savings. And now with the Internet, access to "the great deals," is that more expansive...

I always like to stop at SlickDeals.net. According to this site, it is the most frequently updated and complete “deal site” on the web. You can see the hottest deals daily, over 800 coupons for all your favorite online stores, and a dozen forums where you’ll join thousands of others viewing the forums or posting a hot deal. Another Internet leader I like to visit for name-brands at clearance prices is Overstock.com. They offer top-quality name-brand merchandise at 40-80% off. At Overstock.com, you'll find a great selection on your favorite brands, all backed by the warranties and service you'd expect. The company purchases top quality inventory from manufacturers, distributors, importers, retailers, e-tailers and catalog companies that are commonly left with excess merchandise due to the uncertainty of predicting exactly what, when and how much of their products will sell.
